| The "Qingliangtu" mural of Kaihua Temple in Gaoping,Shanxi Province,is the only existing large-scale mural of the Northern Song Dynasty in China,with the main content of promoting the Buddha world and the story of Buddhist scriptures.There are many characters in the murals,ranging from people,nobles,monks,and Buddhist deities,such as Buddha,Bodhisattva,and the Heavenly King.The research on Kaihua Temple and its murals has been underway since the end of the last century.There has been a series of thematic studies on the "Cool and Cool Painting" murals of Kaihua Temple,but there has been no thematic study on the costumes of the characters in the "Cool and Cool Painting" murals up to now.Character clothing,as an important carrier of character images,plays an important role in the screen.It can not only increase the artistry and decoration of the screen,but also provide clues to the image basis for the costumes of the Song Dynasty characters.Based on the costumes,it can extract their cultural and artistic characteristics,aesthetic characteristics,regional characteristics,cultural implications,academic research value,and historical value in other art categories.On the basis of field investigation and literature research,combined with digital resources from first-hand materials,the recognizable character costumes in the "Qingliangtu" are classified and sorted;Combining the comparison of literature and big data,carry out a completion experiment on part of the screen;From the perspective of visual language,starting from six aspects,lines,colors,accessories,patterns,and the whole,this article explores the artistic characteristics of the character clothing in the "Cool and Refreshing Painting",summarizes its cultural connotations,and achieves the aesthetic characteristics of the character clothing in the "Cool and Refreshing Painting" from the perspective of art studies. |
