Application And Innovation Of "plant Dyeing" In Contemporary Fiber Art

With the changing times and the evolution of artistic concepts,the application and innovation of plant dyeing in contemporary fiber art is receiving more and more attention.The innovation and development of plant dyeing in contemporary fiber art,as well as the importance and value of this traditional craft in contemporary fiber art,are increasingly worth exploring.As an emerging art form,contemporary fiber art emphasizes the emotional resonance and communication with the audience,and is highly experimental and innovative,capable of constantly absorbing new artistic elements and techniques.As an ancient traditional craft with a long history and rich cultural heritage,plant dyeing brings the ultimate presentation of nature,thoughts and emotions in communication,which is what fiber art needs.This paper starts from the origin of plant dyeing,compiles ancient books,materials and documents,and briefly composes the historical development of plant dyeing.The value of grass dyeing is explored from the aesthetic,cultural,sustainable and emotional perspectives.Through the analysis of contemporary fiber artists’ plant dyeing works,we explore how to revitalize plant dyeing technology in contemporary fiber art,and conclude that traditional plant dyeing can be innovated from several perspectives,including process,color,form,and creative concept,and explore its feasibility through practice and exploration,providing new ideas and perspectives for the development and innovation of wood dyeing technology in contemporary fiber art.
