| Wuhan has more than 3500 years of history of building city.There are not only the great rivers and rivers,but also the splendid Chu and Han cultures,and the prosperous cities that make people forget to return.The Yangtze River bridge,Yellow Crane Tower,Jianghan Guan,the tortoise tower and the Dragon Temple are all bearing her cultural charm and personality characteristics.In December 2016,the State Council made clear the status of Wuhan as the central city of the country.The development of Wuhan city was getting better and better,and it also attracted investors and tourists from all over the country and around the world.At present,the tourism industry in Wuhan is developing rapidly and facing many problems.Especially,the regional characteristics of local tourist souvenirs are not distinct,lack of innovation,and weak awareness of brand protection,which makes the imitation of tourist souvenirs imitate plagiarism,and it has a great spread.Making similar souvenirs,lacking originality and similar things,is hard to satisfy tourists’ consumption demand.Regional tourist souvenirs is one of the most important economic pillars of tourism industry.Its importance is obvious,which is directly related to the brand promotion and economic interests of urban tourism.The design and development of Wuhan tourist souvenir brand,the production of tourist souvenirs with regional cultural characteristics which tourists love and enjoy,will promote the healthy development of the tourist shopping market and the tourism souvenir industry,enhance Wuhan’s cultural image as a national central city.This paper,starting with the analysis of the present situation of tourist souvenirs both at home and abroad,introduces the local culture of Wuhan,analyzes the main types and design principles of the existing tourist souvenirs,studies the successful cases in the tourism market,explores the experience and rules,and finds out the problems and shortcomings.On this basis,this paper analyzes six basic characteristics of tourist souvenirs,such as regional,national,environmental,technological,scientific and innovative,and puts forward new design concepts of new expression of traditional elements,new expression of regional culture,new application of environmental protection materials and new development of scientific and technological functions.The new design concept adhered to the tourists in the new era.Personalized appreciation,cognition,evaluation standards,combined with the culture of the special area,the traditional elements,traditional technology into it,the application of new forms,new techniques,new materials,new technology,the design of more modern and realistic tourism products.As a local designer in Wuhan,the author uses the new design concept to combine the Wuhan landmark architecture art with modern science and technology.According to the aesthetic needs of the new era consumers,it is designed from the aspects of the fashion of the souvenir appearance,the environmental protection of the material,the advanced nature of Science and technology,and the practicability of the function.Environmental protection,night light,turtle tower was modelled,with distinctive regional features.Nightlight is ornamental,functionality,collection in one,has a certain market value of tourist souvenirs. |
