After the concept of "self-centering system" was proposed, the self-centering structure has the characteristic of eliminated(or reduced)the residual displacement of the structure after the earthquake, and has become a research hotspot in recent years. The beam-column bolt connection joints commonly used in modern wooden structures, due to inevitable errors in processing and low material strength, lead to the low initial stiffness and poor bearing capacity of such joints. In this paper, the concepts of self-centering and frictional energy consumption are introduced into beam-column bolt connection joints of wooden structures, and a new type of joint construction is proposed. That is,the self-centering glulam beam-column bolt connection joints with steel splint.Studying the seismic performance of frictional energy consumption and self-resetting joints has important engineering application value. This paper uses a combination of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation to study the seismic performance of steel splint friction self-centering glulam beam-column bolted joints. The main work and research results include:(1)The basic structure and working principle of the joint are elaborated in detail, and the force-displacement relationship under cyclic loading is analyzed theoretically. The calculation formulas for the deformation, displacement and stiffness of the joint at various stress stages are deduced, which provides theoretical reference for the design of joints.(2)Using ABAQUS finite element analysis software,a refined model of the joint was established, and the finite element analysis of similar joints and the monotonic load static analysis of the joint demonstrated the rationality of the joint modeling process and the feasibility of the joint construction.(3)The ABAQUS finite element analysis software was used to analyze the seismic performance of the joint under cyclic loading, and the effects law of friction coefficient, bolt pre-tension,initial prestress of steel strands, spacing of prestressed steel strands, number of prestressed steel strands, and end plate thickness on energy consumption, bearing capacity,self-resetting ability, and joint stiffness were clarified.
