The combination of partially encased composite column(PEC)and steel plate shear walls(SPSWs)has become a new structure system — Part encased composite frame-steel plate shear wall structure system. The structure system has good cooperative performance and stable hysteresis performance.Based on the traditional PEC column steel plate shear wall structure,a new type of PEC column steel plate shear wall structure, namely,PEC column steel plate shear wall structure with cross links,is proposed by introducing the PEC column with cross links.Compared with the PEC column with horizontal links, the PEC column with cross links has stronger restraint effect on concrete, which improves the action area of high restrained concrete in the column, and can provide better anchoring effect for SPSWs.In addition, the research will take the experimental research and finite element numerical simulation as the main research means to compare the seismic performance of PEC column steel plate shear wall structure with different links(transverse links and cross links). On this basis, the seismic performance of SPSWs with different column forms(including the pure steel column, the concrete filled steel tube column and the PEC column)and different wall thickness forms of the VBEs is understood and analyzed.(1)Through the finite element software simulation and theoretical analysis, the influence of links spacing, flange width thickness ratio, and links diameter on the axial bearing capacity of the PEC column with different links(transverse links and cross links)is compared and analyzed.Based on the existing calculation formula of axial bearing capacity of PEC column, considering the influence of links on the axial bearing capacity of PEC column, the axial bearing capacity of PEC column is calculated formula derivation.(2)In this paper,a new type of structure, the PEC column SPSWs with cross links,is studied by quasi-static test, and a specimen with transverse links is added as the contrast specimen.By comparing the test results of two specimens, the influence of PEC columns with different links on the seismic performance of SPSW structure is studied, and the deformation development and failure mode of the new structure are investigated.(3)Based on the experimental research, the finite element software ABAQUS is used to carry out the numerical simulation analysis of the two specimens, and the seismic performance indexes such as bearing capacity, stiffness, energy consumption and ductility of the finite element model and the test specimens are compared. That is,the credibility of the established finite element model is verified through the comparison between the finite element analysis results and the test results.(4)Under the same conditions of column cross-sectional area and steel ratio, the thin SPSW structures with different VBEs are simulated by finite element method, such as pure steel column SPSWs,square steel tube concrete column SPSWs and PEC column SPSWs.The influence of different column forms on the mechanical mechanism, failure mode, hysteretic performance, strength and stiffness of SPSWs is analyzed The design suggestions for the application of various columns are put forward.
