Research On Function Evaluation Of Marine Theme Parks In Shandong Provinc

As an important part of tourist attractions,theme parks are a symbol of advanced urban tourism industry.Ocean theme parks are favored by the public due to their unique value.To a certain extent,they can satisfy people’s spirit of yearning of the ocean,which is conducive to promoting economic growth,promoting the marine culture,and showing the beauty of cities.With the rapid development of China’s economy and society,consumers’ demand for high-quality travel is escalating,ocean theme parks are also facing new changes to meet the urgent needs of industrial development and the progress of the times.The success or failure of the ocean theme parks’ reform depends on the effectiveness and scientific nature of the scenic area construction.Functional evaluation is an important measure to promote the scientific and effective management of ocean theme parks,promotes the sustainable development of ocean theme parks.Shandong province has rich ocean resources.It also has broad space and excellent conditions for developing ocean theme parks.At present,there are a large number of theme pavilions in ocean theme parks,but most of them focus on the display of ocean organisms,leads to the lack of prominent features and serious similarity in scenic spots,and it is difficult to innovate in functional positioning.In view of this,this paper carries on the function evaluation research to the ocean theme park in Shandong Province.Firstly,the function evaluation index system of ocean theme park is established,and the weight of the index is assigned by analytic hierarchy process.Secondly,taking 8 ocean theme parks as the research objects,the original data are obtained through questionnaire survey,and the functional development level of ocean theme parks is measured and evaluated by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Finally,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the functional development of ocean theme park.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)According to the principles of comprehensiveness,scientificity and independence,the overall function of ocean theme park is divided into five dimensions,includs thematic function,science popularization education function,ornamental function,entertainment experience function and economic development function.The thematic function includes diversity,typicality and regionality.Popular science education function includes popular science facilities,popular science activities,popular science effects and scientific research.Ornamental function includes aesthetics,coordination and strange characteristics.entertainment experience function includes participation,entertainment,consumption and interpersonal interaction.The economic development function includes scenic spot income and regional benefit.Therefore,a functional evaluation index system of ocean theme parks is constructed,which contains 16 indexes at 3 levels.(2)The overall functional development level of ocean theme parks in Shandong Province is class II,and the overall functional development status is acceptable.The overall function evaluation of the 8 ocean theme parks in descending order is Weihai sea world,Qingdao polar ocean world,Rizhao Ocean Park,Quancheng ocean polar warld,ocean aquarium of Penglai,Qingdao Underwater World,Linyi Ocean World Theme Park,Daming Lake underwater World.In general,the overall functional development of 5A-level ocean theme parks is better than that of 4A-level ocean theme parks,and the overall functional development of 4A-level ocean theme parks is better than that of 3A-level ocean theme parks;the overall functional development of ocean theme parks in coastal cities are better than in inland cities.From the perspective of the development status of each functions,the ranking of development is as follows: economic development function,ornamental function,entertainment experience function,popular science education function,thematic function.The functional structure presents the characteristics of "olive" hierarchical structure.(3)According to the functional development of ocean theme parks in Shandong Province,five optimization suggestions are put forward: optimizing the functional structures and promoting coordinated developments,highlighting the theme characteristics and creating core attractions,improving consumption and increasing added value,attaching importance to popular science education and promoting scientific research,raising awareness and cultivate well-known brands.
