Gear rotor bearing system is a type of rotor systems that is widely used and is also the most complex.Due to the coupling effect of gears,the vibrations of each rotor in the system are coupled and influenced each other.Therefore,the research on dynamics of gear rotor bearing system must base on the concept of system and whole,take all gears,rotors and bearings in the system as a whole and establish a unified system dynamics equation to make overall analysis.Therefore,the normative,simple and reliable modeling method has the great significance for the research of complex gear coupled shafting dynamics.The main works of this paper are as follows:(1)Base on the basic principle of tooth profile meshing,the geometric coupling model of the spur gear pair,helical gear pair,spur bevel gear pair and spiral bevel gear pair with general position meshing and the corresponding coupling model transformation matrix are established.(2)Base on the geometric coupling model,a normative modeling method for complex gear rotor bearing coupled shafting systems including spur gears,helical gears,spur bevel gears and spiral bevel gears is proposed.(3)Base on Romax software,the modal analysis of a DH compressor gear coupling rotor system is carried out,and the possibility of controlling and reducing the unbalance response of the system by changing the gear mass and the polar moment of inertia is discussed.Research shows that is expected to effectively reduce and control the unbalance response of the system and suppress the system vibration by increasing the polar moment of inertia of the low speed gear and the high speed gear for the DH compressor gear coupling rotor system.
