Research And Design Of HDV Converter Transformer Barrier

Electric power,which is the lifeblood of economic developments and one of the world’s important energy,has developed into an dispensable part of people’s life.Converter transformer is the most important electrical facilities in DC transmission and transformation system,which plays an important role in the power grid system.The barrier system is the main part to ensure the reliable operation of converter transformer.Based on design experience of barrier system in the past and through the theoretical study of oil-paper insulation system.Presents a new design scheme for the insulation system of converter transformer barrier,calculates and verifies the insulation system of the new converter transformer barrier,and completes the manufacture of the barrier and it has installed on the converter transformer.The test is successful.Firstly,by consulting large number of documents and books,this paper inquires about the development status and trends of converter transformers and its barrier at home and abroad.Secondly,the insulation mechanism of oil-paper insulation system and the insulation mode of converter transformer and barrier are mastered after the study to insulation characteristics of solid and liquid dielectric.According to insulation characteristics of solid and liquid dielectrics,the existing barrier are verified by engineering methods.By comparing and analyzing the verification results,the improvement way and suggestion are summarized.Finally,through the summary of the barrier research recommendations,combined with high requirements of the existing HVDC transmission project on converter transformer and barrier,new barrier structure is designed,and the design of converter transformer barrier device structure for electromagnetic simulation and strength simulation is verified.Combined with the results of calculation and verification of barrier.Adjust and complete the structure design model of the barrier is adjusted and finished.Then the barrier of converter transformer is manufactured and the experimental contents installed on the converter transformer are completed.At the end of this paper,the work done is summarized,and the future research direction of converter transformer and barrier is prospected.
