Nowadays,with the rapid development of the high-end manufacturing industry in China,servo products such as industrial robots are widely used.However,the absolute position sensors required for servo motor systems suffer from high cost,poor reliability,and environmental adaptability.This thesis proposes a new dual-stator permanent magnet synchronous machine(PMSM).This topology helps increase the motor torque density and realizes sensorless control of the absolute position of the motor’s rotor with the preferred combination of the inner and outer air gap pole pairs.According to the special magnetic circuit topology and magnetic field distribution characteristics of dual-pole dual-stator permanent magnet synchronous machine(DDPMSM),this thesis studies from the following aspects:Firstly,the topology of dual-pole dual-stator machine is analyzed,and the principle of rotor absolute position detection is described.On this basis,the electromagnetic design of DDPMSM is carried out after selecting a specific combination of pole pairs.And,the rationality of the design is verified by finite element simulation to provide prototype reference for subsequent research.Secondly,according to the characteristics of the DDPMSM magnetic circuit and the difference in pole pairs between internal and external motors,an equivalent hybrid magnetic circuit model is established.Through the harmonic analysis of the back electromotive force and the air gap magnetic field of the internal and external motors,the magnetic field coupling conditions of the internal and external air gap of DDPMSM and its influence on the motor characteristics are studied.Thirdly,the energy method is used to analyze the generation mechanism of cogging torque of PMSM,and the influence of stator tooth-tips magnetic saturation on the amplitude and period distribution of the cogging torque is analyzed by the finite element method.On this basis,the characteristics of DDPMSM’s cogging torque are described,and the cogging torque reduction method based on rotor skew pole is studied.Finally,according to the special structural characteristics of the double-stator motor,the structural design scheme of the prototype is put forward,and the structural strength of the double-air-gap cup rotor is checked to complete the prototype development.On this basis,a dragging experiment platform is built to verify the accuracy of the previous electromagnetic design through the comprehensive test of the electromagnetic characteristics of the prototype.
