Rerearch On The Conservation And Activation Of Traditional Villages In Zhuozhang River Valley,Pingshun,Shanxi Province

Traditional village is the production and living community where villagers live together for generations.It is not only the basic unit of Chinese traditional culture,but also a special kind of cultural heritage.However,in the process of rapid urbanization and modernization,traditional villages are showing a trend of decline and depression.Fortunately,with the continuous upsurge of social enthusiasm for the protection of cultural heritage,traditional villages,as a special kind of cultural heritage,are receiving more and more attention.This paper focuses on the concentrated and contiguous traditional village groups in the Zhuozhang River Valley of Pingshun,Shanxi Province,takes 5 batches of 21 traditional villages selected into the list of Chinese traditional villages in the river valley as the research object,discusses the regional cultural characteristics and comprehensive value of traditional village groups from a regional perspective,and puts forward the principles and Strategies of protection and activation according to the difficulties they face in protection and development.Firstly,from the perspective of paying attention to the regional natural and geographical environment and historical and cultural background to shape the cultural style of traditional villages,combined with literature and field research,this paper analyzes the regional cultural characteristics of traditional villages in Zhuozhang River Valley in terms of site selection planning,traditional houses,agricultural characteristics,spiritual belief and red culture.On this basis,it explains the comprehensive value of traditional villages in the Zhuozhang River valley from four aspects: historical and cultural value,scientific and artistic value,local social value and cultural ecological value.Through on-site investigation and villagers’ interview,this paper makes a qualitative analysis on the difficulties faced by the traditional villages in the Zhuozhang River Valley at the present stage.The analysis shows that the difficulties they are facing in the protection and development mainly include six aspects: the decline of village space,the difficulty of cultural inheritance,the difficulty of resource revitalization,the sluggish industrial development,the disorder of village management and the decline of community,and these difficulties are not isolated single system problems,It is a comprehensive and systematic problem faced by the traditional villages in the Zhuozhang River Valley in the tide of modernization and urbanization.Based on the above analysis and research,this paper puts forward that the protection and activation of traditional villages in Zhuozhang River valley should at least follow the principle of regional integrity,the bottom line of "change and invariance" and the principle of taking villagers as the basis,and puts forward the protection and activation strategies from five aspects: planning guidance,industrial revitalization,popular activation,resource revitalization and village governance.
