As the status of the construction industry in the national economy is getting higher and higher, more and more people are eager to the construction industry. With the rapid development of the construction industry and the rapid increase of the number of employees, the number of safety accidents is increasing. Therefore, how to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents has become a problem that the construction industry needs to solve.Safety citizenship behavior is an ideal way to improve the safety of construction projects. At the same time, with the aging of the population and the liberalization of the one-child and three-child policy, more and more employees need to devote their energy to work. This makes the conflict between family and work increasingly serious.Reducing the family-work conflict among construction workers can reduce the emotional exhaustion of workers and improve worker safety citizenship behavior. The purpose of this paper is to provide guidance and suggestions for project managers through empirical research on the relationship between family-work conflict, emotional exhaustion and safety citizenship behaviorFirstly, through literature review, the concepts and influencing factors of family work conflict, emotional exhaustion and safe citizenship behavior are sorted out and defined, and the mechanism of action between them is explored.A hypothesis model of the influence of safety leadership on safe citizenship behavior with emotional exhaustion as the intermediary variable is constructed.Secondly, the existing maturity scale is modified according to the current situation of the construction industry, the following conclusions were drawn :(1)family-work conflict had a negative impact on the safe citizenship behavior of construction workers;(2)Family-work conflict has positive influence on emotional exhaustion of construction workers;(3)Construction workers’ emotional exhaustion has a negative impact on their safety citizenship behavior;(4)Construction workers’ emotional exhaustion plays a partially mediating role in the relationship between family-work conflict and their safe citizenship behavior.
