Transportation is an extremely important and indispensable part of people’s life. The rail transit in the city greatly facilitates people’s travel due to its characteristics and advantages of speed, convenience, safety, environmental protection and large passenger capacity. So it becomes the preferred mode of travel for people to work, study, leisure and entertainments. However, the sudden outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)has completely disrupted people’s normal life rhythm, and has also brought great negative impacts on all aspects of society. The uncertainty of people traveling by subway has increased, and the operation of urban rail transit has been greatly impacted. The sharp drop in the number of passengers and the uneven distribution of passengers at various stations all show that COVID-19 has a significant impact on subway passenger flow, and at the same time brings difficulties to the operation of subways. Therefore, this paper takes the impacts of COVID-19 on the passenger flow of Beijing’s rail transit as a research topic. In the context of the major public health emergency of COVID-19 in the end of2019,this paper uses smart card data, point of interest data, and online-to-offline e-commerce platform data to build a SAE-DNNs + Res Net model based on deep learning, and then gets accurate functional area classifications. Then, carry out empirical research and build a random effect model to conduct lag analysis, moderating effect analysis and classification regression respectively.Further, explore the relationship between COVID-19 and the passenger flow of Beijing subway stations, and study the impacts of COVID-19 on the impacts of the passenger flow of subway stations in different functional areas and districts in Beijing. It is concluded that the impact of COVID-19 on subway passenger flow is both time-sensitive and hysteretic, different degrees of negative COVID-19 information will have different effects on subway passenger flow, and COVID-19 has different impacts on the passenger flow of subway stations in different functional areas and districts. Finally, put forward suggestions for ensuring the safe, efficient and orderly operation of subway stations and maintaining the normal life and production order of all parties in the society under COVID-19.
