Developing the air-rail intermodal transportation has a broad market prospect,and is also one of national key task to promote the development of intermodal passenger transport system.At present,the development of air-rail intermodal transportation is in the primary stage in our country,the unclear matching relationship between transport supply and demand makes it lack of quantitative basis for both sides to coordinate timetable resources,share transport capacity and cooperate to carry out air-rail intermodal transportation.Existing passenger flow assignment methods for multi-mode or single-mode transport have limitations such as excessively large granularity of network construction and single utility dimension of path,which are difficult to meet the needs of air-rail intermodal transportation complex network.It is urgent to establish a passenger flow assignment method for space-time service network of air-rail intermodal transportation with diversified objectives,differentiated matching process and refined results,so that operators can effectively master the actual travel demand of passengers in the planning and design stage and obtain the supply-demand matching degree of air-rail intermodal transportation in different operation scenarios.Based on the above content,this paper studies passenger flow assignment method and related applications of air-rail intermodal transportation based on timetable.The work of this paper is as follows:(1)Characteristic analysis of air-rail intermodal transportation supply and demand.Clarify the compositions of air-rail intermodal transportation products,and analyze the characteristics of air-rail intermodal transportation products from the perspective of connecting railway line types and airline types.Clarify the compositions of air-rail intermodal transportation passenger flow,summarize the characteristics of air-rail intermodal transportation passenger flow from the perspective of OD travel distance,OD city attributes and OD transportation competition,and clarify the influencing factors of passenger travel choice.(2)Study on travel path generation of air-rail intermodal transportation network.Taking airports and stations as physical nodes,the space-time service network of air-rail intermodal transportation is constructed,and the space-time service path is defined.The reasonable conditions of the path are clarified from multi-dimensional aspects such as air-rail distance division and air-rail transfer node selection.And the reasonable path parameter values are quantified by means of data analysis and investigation.A two-way breadth-first search algorithm is proposed for passenger travel path search of air-rail intermodal transportation,and several optimization strategies are combined to accelerate the solution of the problem.(3)Study on passenger flow assignment method based on air-rail timetable.By analyzing the similarity and particularity of passenger flow assignment between air-rail intermodal transportation and previous problems,the research objective and process of passenger flow assignment based on air-rail timetable are proposed.In view of the two actual operation scenarios,based on passenger perception utility and network capacity supply conditions,passenger flow assignment models with the goal of maximizing passenger travel benefits and the goal of maximizing air-rail intermodal transportation benefits are established respectively.(4)Case study.Taking the civil aviation network of China and the regional railway network serving the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as the background,the application analysis of passenger flow assignment based on air-rail timetable under the two operation scenarios is completed,which provide suggestions for air-rail intermodal transportation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The results solved by MATLAB and Cplex software show that: Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport have the potential of air-rail intermodal transportation,with average daily passenger flow of 36000 and 22000 respectively.As several railway lines are in the planning and construction stage,the development potential of air-rail intermodal transportation of Beijing Daxing International Airport in the case study is underestimated.Attracting passenger flow of air-rail intermodal transportation with idle seat capacity of railway and civil aviation can effectively improve the common revenue.When the proportion of surplus seat capacity is 15% and 30% respectively,the maximum daily revenue of air-rail intermodal transportation can be 30.21 million yuan.
