After 30 years of rapid growth,China’s auto industry saw its first decline in sales in 2018.In the context of deepening globalization,we must pay attention to the development trend of the automobile industry,because the automobile industry is very important to the prosperity of China’s domestic economy.The automobile industry has very distinct characteristics,such as a relatively complete and comprehensive industrial chain,providing more jobs,and improving domestic consumption capacity.The emphasis on the healthy development of automobile products is a manifestation of today’s national comprehensive industrial capabilities,and has greatly contributed to To promote social progress and development,China’s auto industry has developed from a model that relies heavily on foreign imports to a comprehensive and mature auto industry system.At present,China’s automobile production and sales are still the first in the world,and the automobile industry has made a qualitative leap from quantitative development.During the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,the global economic development has slowed down.The development of the automobile industry has been affected,and the continuous innovation of the IT industry has also promoted the sublimation of the automobile industry.Artificial intelligence and new energy are the main marks of the new generation of automobile industry.It can be seen that my country’s auto industry has ushered in a period of adjustment that has to be transformed.In the next three years,the production and sales of my country’s auto industry continued to decline.As a result,the product life cycle of new models is further shortened or even difficult to market.Due to the decline in production and sales,car companies must consider reducing costs and increasing efficiency,making the cost issue on the purchasing side an area that car companies pay more and more attention to.Moreover,in the past ten years,the domestic auto market has become more and more competitive.The current sedan market is represented by the BBA formed by Mercedes-Benz,BMW and Audi,which occupies most of the domestic sedan market.Auto companies such as Geely,BYD and Great Wall Motors are also gradually maturing,and auto products are further moving towards homogeneity.In order to gain an advantage in competition,auto companies are bound to carry out new development and innovation in the new era.However,due to the emergence of this situation,it is difficult to maintain the traditional procurement management model of the automobile industry in the past.Today’s business activities at the procurement end of the automobile market require new models to be injected.Therefore,the digital procurement management model has emerged,and it has become an automobile enterprise to achieve cost reduction.A key way to increase efficiency.FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co.,Ltd.is my country’s first joint venture automobile enterprise,located in Changchun City,mainly focusing on vehicle assembly and sales.In the Chinese market,we focus on the production and marketing of Volkswagen and Audi.However,under the background of the current adjustment period of the automobile industry,the company’s procurement management side has problems such as low operational efficiency in business management,IT system management,and talent construction,and the poor business coordination and talent shortage make it difficult for human resources to support operations.Therefore,the research of this paper takes FAW-Volkswagen Co.,Ltd.as the research object,aiming at the problems in its procurement management,from the perspective of strengthening the digital injection of supply chain management,strengthening the efficient integration of data platforms and building a digital talent team.In order to adapt to the changes in the current environment in the new era and the new situation needs caused by the transformation period of the automobile industry.
