High-speed trains play an important role in the social transportation system, and are safer, more economical, and faster than traditional trains.Under the policy of building a strong transportation country, the railway project is developing continuously, the transportation demand is increasing day by day,and the railway system is facing huge challenges. In order to meet the safety, energy saving and comfortable running requirements of high-speed trains, this paper proposes a cruise control method for high-speed trains based on cooperative control. The single-train and multi-train situations are studied respectively. The main contents are as follows:(1)Aiming at the problem of high energy consumption during the cooperative cruise operation of a single train and multiple carriages,by modeling each carriage of a high-speed train and introducing a multi-agent system,a linear quadratic regulator based on the(linear quadratic regulator is proposed,LQR)cooperative cruise optimization control strategy. On the premise of ensuring the safe operation of the carriage, the control strategy aims at reducing the running distance of the carriages and reducing the energy consumption.Among them, through the constraints on the speed term and the position term, each car can accurately track the desired speed and reduce the safety distance between adjacent cars, and according to the LQR correlation principle, the performance index function of the energy consumption of the train control system is obtained. The feedback control gain parameter in the strategy obtains the input value that minimizes the performance index function, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the carriage.(2)Aiming at the problem that multi-trains can only ensure the safety of train operation while ignoring the operating efficiency and comfort in the mobile block "hit hard wall" mode,a multi-high-speed train cooperative cruise control strategy based on an improved distributed consensus algorithm is proposed. The control strategy takes the consistent speed between trains and the minimum safe distance interval as the control goals, and uses the relationship between speed and displacement to improve the position item of the control strategy to make the distance between trains reach the minimum value. The tangent function is used to limit the acceleration threshold to ensure passenger comfort. Finally, the asymptotic convergence of the proposed control strategy is proved by the Lyapunov stability principle, and the effectiveness of the control strategy is verified by a simulation example. The simulation results show that, compared with the common control strategy,a single train can not only maintain a smaller running distance between carriages but also lower energy consumption under the LQR-based collaborative cruise optimization control strategy;Under the distributed cooperative cruise control strategy,it can not only ensure the safety of the train running in the mobile blocking mode, but also ensure the comfort of passengers.
