With the ever-growing development of Chinese society and improvement of industrial modernization,the demand for the quality,performance,reliability and safety of the products used in all walks of life is gradually increasing.With the gradual implementation of the state’s decentralization,testing services and other monopoly industries are gradually becoming market-oriented.Testing enterprises such as K Company will face major challenges from the market and need to improve and innovate the existing business model.However,the research on the business model of third-party testing organization in China is relatively scarce,and the research on the business model innovation of testing organization in the power industry is still vacant.Taking K Company as the research object,combined with the current development status of testing and power industry in China,discusses the business model guided by the Osterwalder’s canvas theory[1].Through in-depth analysis of K company’s existing business model,figure out and discuss the existing problems,and then propose the suitable countermeasures for K company.In terms of value proposition,expand detection field to achieve extensive platform positioning,optimize service mode to enhance service value;In terms of key business,solve the technical bottleneck of batch testing and broaden the scope of key business;In terms of key partners,seek stable and high-quality partners to reduce risks;In terms of core resources,should strengthen standardized development,pay attention to the introduction and training of talents and optimize core resources.In terms of customer segmentation,further customer segmentation,horizontal extension of the market,to expand the influence of the brand;In terms of channel path,various channels are optimized to accelerate K company’s penetration into south China market.In terms of customer relations,maintain good relationship with old and new customers and establish brand image;In terms of cost structure,reduce operating costs,optimize the cost structure;In terms of revenue sources,should build bases in South China to optimize revenue sources.Taking K Company as the research object,aims to conduct in-depth research on the extant business model of K Company in combination with the current testing market and the internal and external situations of K Company,and discuss how to innovate the business model of testing organization,so as to help K company effectively deal with market competition and challenges,improve its market share and profitability,and promote the rapid development of K company.At the same time,the research on the business model innovation of K company can provide valuable cases for other similar companies,especially power technology service organization,and provide samples for other scholars to study the business model innovation.
