Building a modern intelligent transportation system is an effective measure to improve road safety. As a key component of building an intelligent transportation system,on the one hand, the Internet of Vehicles(Io V)helps vehicles adjust their driving status and plan driving routes;on the other hand, through the networked communication and coordination of Io V nodes, the traffic management department can monitor and adjust traffic flow in real time,to achieve intelligent traffic management. The terminal nodes of the Io V mostly use wireless open channels for message transmission. The communication messages usually contain status data such as the node’s ID,heading, driving lane, and current location. However, there are usually illegal nodes in the network. The intervention of these illegal nodes will be data Trustworthiness and user privacy are negatively impacted. In order to solve the problems of user privacy leakage and data untrustworthiness in Telematics communication, this paper first builds a blockchain-based Telematics authentication model based on existing research results and combines blockchain technology to illustrate the basic nodes and functions in the network. Then, under this framework,a lightweight authentication protocol based on certificate-free pseudonyms is designed, where vehicles autonomously generate communication pseudonyms and complete the dual verification of user identity and message integrity through a noninteractive,zero-knowledge proof protocol. To assess the trustworthiness of messages,a data-centric trustworthiness threshold-based message evaluation scheme is introduced based on anonymous authentication, fusing the data source location, speed and type of incident to obtain an accurate estimate of the trustworthiness status of messages. The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Based on the review of the research progress and challenges of authentication and trust management schemes for Io V at home and abroad, this paper analyzes the four communication scenarios of the Io V and the message types transmitted in different scenarios, summarizes the current threats in vehicular network communication, and pointed out the security requirements that authentication protocols in Io V should meet.2.To address the authentication problem of vehicle networking, the traditional mechanism mostly considers the use of pseudonym certificates for authentication, which can lead to single point of failure and large overhead,a blockchain-based certificateless pseudonym authentication mechanism is proposed, using the pseudonym self-generation method to revoke illegal vehicle communication pseudonyms by issuing public key updates to achieve the purpose of protecting users’ privacy information. At the same time,in order to prevent complicity attacks, the revocation process is designed to be calculated by fog nodes and supervisory nodes through collaboration, and the revocation results are stored in the blockchain to achieve secure storage of network communication messages.2.In order to solve the problem of data untrustworthiness and considering the privacy and security issues in the Telematics communication environment, this section introduces a trustworthiness threshold-based message evaluation scheme applicable to the anonymous communication environment, which probabilistically estimates the trustworthiness of a message by combining different multiple features. The simulation experimental results show that the model proposed in this paper obtains good evaluation results.
