Ternary Marginal Analysis Of China’s Export Of Electromechanical Products To RCEP Member Countries Based On Trade Gravity Model

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)was initiated by ASEAN in 2012 and lasted eight years.The RCEP was officially signed on November15,2020 after eight years of negotiations.Starting from January 1,2022,the RCEP was signed on November 15,2020.China,Japan and other ten countries in the official effect.China has maintained trade with RCEP member countries,especially in the area of goods trade.China’s total export of mechanical and electrical products to RCEP member countries accounts for two thirds of China’s export to RCEP.Therefore,the signing of RCEP provides new opportunities for Chinese mechanical and electrical products to be exported to RCEP countries.The agreements included in the agreement include granting national treatment to other contracting goods,gradually realizing tariff liberalization,and at the same time realizing customs procedures and trade facilitation,which provides certain preferential treatment and convenience for China’s export of mechanical and electrical products to RCEP member countries.Therefore,how to ensure the continuous growth of China’s export of electromechanical products to RCEP member countries needs to study the main driving force of growth.This paper studies the growth pattern and influencing factors of China’s export of mechanical and electrical products to RCEP member countries through ternary marginal analysis and gravity model.Firstly,the export status quo of China’s mechanical and electrical products is described,and the fourteen TRADING partners of RCEP are divided into two categories(ASEAN and Japan,South Korea,New Zealand and Australia).The trade situation of China’s mechanical and electrical products with these countries is analyzed,and it is found that China mainly relies heavily on several of these markets and has a single export market.Secondly,Using domestic scholars Shi Bing exhibition of ternary marginal analysis framework for three yuan marginal framework of analysis,first of all,on the whole were analyzed,and then select the six member states were analyzed,and the typical found are basically "growth,and secondly price growth" growth model,the width and the marginal effect is small,even negligible,Finally,the panel data and the improved gravity model are used to study the factors that affect the triple margin,such as distance,GDP of import and export countries and RMB exchange rate,and the influence degree and direction of different factors are obtained.Finally,the paper provides suggestions for China’s export of mechanical and electrical products according to the previous analysis.We should pay more attention to the construction of our own brand,improve our core competitiveness,and pay attention to the training of talents.
