Tribology is an intersecting and comprehensive subject that studies friction,lubrication and wear.It has strong practicality and plays an extremely important role in various fields such as life and production.In view of the limitations of the current resistance method-based friction test device that requires external conductive equipment,it is difficult to continuously monitor a single lubrication state,and the test real-time performance is weak,this paper proposes a resistance method double-point contact adaptive friction tester to achieve more accurate,fast and stable testing.The contact resistance method is an effective test method for qualitative analysis of lubrication status.This article innovatively proposes a two-point contact friction test device based on the resistance method.The device adopts a bottom-up loading method,uses a floating support mechanism to realize automatic loading adjustment,and arranges a circuit on a relatively static test piece.Carrying out resistance measurement,which simplifies the design of the circuit and ensures the accuracy of the test.The test mainly used the controlled variable method to explore the influence of the change of load,speed and lubricating oil viscosity on the lubrication characteristics.The study found that the lower the load,the faster the speed,and the higher the viscosity of the lubricating oil,the greater the overall contact resistance.In addition,the "platform" that is the phenomenon of slow changes in resistance can also be observed from the resistance change curve,which indicates that the contact resistance can be more sensitive to reflect the external changes.According to Dowson’s lubrication state classification method,the lubrication state diagram of the double-point contact under different working conditions is drawn,which reflects the advantages of the resistance method under the double-point contact form.The development of the double-point contact friction testing machine can provide a new idea for the on-line monitoring of lubrication status,lubricant quality identification,surface film formation process and surface wear mechanism testing.
