The dialogue between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN)and China began in 1991,and now the cooperation in the China ASEAN Free Trade Area has reached its thirtieth year.In the following cooperation,China and ASEAN have clearly proposed to increase cooperation in the cultural field.At the same time,the world’s diversified cultural and creative industries are also rapidly developing and gradually strengthening.After investigation,it was found that there are currently few cultural and creative product designs for the complete set of ASEAN ten countries both domestically and internationally,lacking innovative pattern cultural and creative research and development design.The existing ASEAN ten country characteristic patterns have problems such as low visual beautification and insufficient exploration of cultural connotations.In response to this situation,using the theory of cultural differences and taking architectural culture as the starting point,the architecture of a country or region is a cultural crystallization formed by a combination of various elements such as economy,technology,art,philosophy,history,etc.The ten ASEAN countries each have different cultural backgrounds and have typical representative buildings from various countries.After analyzing online and offline research data,this topic is selected,Classify the representative characteristic buildings in the ten ASEAN countries based on the main religious beliefs of the country,extract relevant patterns and patterns,and design innovative combination patterns with recognition,regionalism and culture in combination with contemporary cultural and creative artistic language,and then apply them to relevant cultural and creative products.It is concluded that cultural and creative products are one of the effective ways for ASEAN countries to promote themselves to the outside world.Based on China’s emphasis on friendly exchanges among ASEAN countries,and with the support and encouragement of relevant policies,using the China ASEAN Academy of Arts as a platform,it will be of great significance to develop and design cultural and creative products with distinctive patterns of ASEAN countries.I hope that through this research project,we can enrich the cultural promotion methods of the ten ASEAN countries,and provide a unique and regional perspective on cultural and creative product design for large-scale activities such as cultural exchanges and academic forums between China and ASEAN in the future.
