With the accelerated industrialization of society, the noise pollution problem is becoming increasingly severe, and noise control technology has become one of the hottest topics of domestic and international academic research.Active Noise Control(ANC)technology generates the signal opposite to the noise using an adaptive filter and the sound elimination method to suppress the background noise, which has a good noise elimination effect in many environments and is the current focus of noise control research.Based on the ANC model, this paper investigates the adaptive filtering algorithm used in it and proposes a corresponding enhanced algorithm using a dual system combination scheme, which effectively avoids the problems and limitations of the conventional algorithm. The primary contents of the research are as follows:First, this paper introduces the research background and status of noise control technology. This paper focuses on the design principles, classification, core algorithms involved, and performance evaluation criteria of ANC technology. Then,to address the problem that the convergence speed and noise reduction effect of traditional ANC techniques cannot be effectively compromised, the Filtered-x Affine Projection(Fx AP)algorithm and the Normalized Filtered-x Normalized Least Mean Square(Fx NLMS)algorithm are combined, and three improvement strategies are proposed to obtain better noise control effects, mainly including: 1.The convex combination of Fx AP and Fx NLMS algorithms, and the adaptive iteration rules of their combination factors are designed using the gradient descent method and Sigmoid function, thus effectively combining the characteristics of fast convergence of the Fx AP algorithm and excellent noise reduction effect of the Fx NLMS algorithm;2.A new adaptive combinatorial model of the dual system is constructed, and two combinatorial factor iteration algorithms are derived using the minimization of steady-state mean square error algorithm and the gradient descent method, respectively,to further reduce the operation on the basis of obtaining the advantages of the combination of Fx AP and Fx NLMS algorithms. The experimental test results show that the above improvements can effectively improve the overall noise control performance of the ANC system. Finally, the summary and outlook for the whole paper are presented.
