Research On Space Renewal Design Of Bai Traditional Residence

Traditional residential buildings are the material carrier of excellent culture,art,history and spirit,and the witness of social development and ethnic progress.Different ethnic groups have different cultural and artistic styles due to the differences in geographical location,climate characteristics,natural environment,historical background,cultural conditions and other aspects,and then formed traditional residential buildings and decorative art forms with their own characteristics.However,the advancement of China’s urbanization process has had a direct or indirect impact on the traditional residential buildings.In the face of this phenomenon,the traditional residential buildings should be properly updated to better adapt to the social development trend of the new era,meet the needs of modern residents and promote the sustainable development of traditional residential buildings.This paper takes Xizhou Bai traditional dwellings and traditional handicrafts as the research object,and studies from the starting point of residential space renewal design.Through the systematic investigation,analysis,sorting,induction and summary of the geographical location,historical background,humanistic characteristics and architectural art of Xizhou ancient town,this paper summarizes the regionality and culture of Xizhou Bai traditional folk houses.At the same time,according to the updated design concept,emphasize the cultural background of traditional handicrafts,and update and transform the traditional folk houses of Bai ethnic group.So that it can not only retain the cultural gene of the Bai ethnic group,but also radiate new vitality and vitality,and give full play to its due economic value and social status in modern society.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the value and significance of traditional houses,analyzes the value and significance of traditional houses,summarizes the research status of traditional houses at home and abroad,defines the research contents and methods of the paper,and establishes the research framework.The second chapter explains the development direction of the traditional handicraft design of the White House,and discusses the renewal of the traditional handicraft design of the White House.The third chapter divides the spatial characteristics of Bai traditional folk houses into three aspects: spatial layout,spatial structure and decorative art,and then summarizes and defines the spatial characteristics of Bai traditional folk houses through field investigation and comparative analysis,so as to provide a solid theoretical basis and rich material basis for the following spatial renewal design strategies and methods.The fourth chapter puts forward the space renewal design strategies and methods from multiple angles of function,material and culture based on the renewal design theory.The fifth chapter applies the space renewal design method summarized above to the traditional folk houses of Xizhou Bai ethnic group.By solving the problems of space waste and lack of innovation of traditional houses in site selection,the theory is transformed into practice to prove the application value and practical significance of the renewal research of Bai traditional houses.The sixth chapter summarizes and prospects the research on the spatial renewal of Bai traditional residential buildings,complements,expands and innovates the connotation of Chinese traditional culture and traditional residential buildings,hoping to provide some reference value and positive role for the creation and cultural innovation of traditional residential buildings.
