Abstract/Summary:
Since the promulgation of the ninth document of power system reform in 2015,China’s power market has been further liberalized.At the same time,the national dual carbon goal has put forward higher requirements for the development of China’s power system,and the changes in the power system have become more frequent,with increasing uncertainty and complexity,and the traditional power system has been difficult to adapt to the needs of the new development.At the ninth meeting of the central financial committee held in March 2021,the construction of a new power system with new energy as the mainstay was proposed.For the new type of power system containing massive information and complex structure,digitalization is one of the important conditions for the successful construction of the new type of power system.As a way to realize digitalization,digital twins has received extensive attention in various fields in recent years,and has been initially applied in aerospace,manufacturing,energy,transportation and other fields.However,in the field of power systems,digital twin technology has been initially explored at the equipment level.At the system level,current research is mostly focused on the top-level design of mechanisms,standards,and concepts of digital twin,with few practical applications combined with specific examples.At the same time,after the liberalization of the electricity market,there are more entities entering on the generation side and the sales side.The resources and information in the system are in a distributed environment,and there is both competition and mutual coordination among the subjects.The multi-agent technology has been widely used in the power market because of its characteristics of autonomy,flexibility and interaction.Therefore,based on the background of the preliminary promotion of digital twin and multi-agent technology in the field of power system,this paper focuses on the proposal and verification of the specific framework of power grid planning and the multi-agentbased planning model.Based on the previous theoretical study of digital twins,this paper aims to try to combine the digital twin framework and multi-agent system technology with the specific problem of power grid planning and promote its further instantiation in the field of power system application.Firstly,based on the analysis of the concept of digital twins and the necessity of its integration with power grid planning,the grid planning framework is constructed and the trigger mechanism of power grid planning is proposed.At the same time,to further improve the trigger mechanism,an index system for grid planning is established and the grid planning process under the digital twin framework is clarified.Then,based on the introduction of the concept of agents and multi-agent system,a multiagent system for power grid planning including topological and algorithmic agents is constructed.At the same time,the structure of the multi-agent system,the basic tasks and the sequence of information interaction are further clarified.The proposed multi-agent system is validated using a Garver-6 node system and a 46 node system in southern Brazil.Finally,according to the proposed digital twin-based grid planning framework and multiagent-based grid planning model,the Microsoft Azure digital twin platform is used used for validation and experimentation.Based on the introduction of the Azure digital twin platform,the article considers the access of new energy,further improves the planning model agent in the multi-agent system,and uses the Azure digital twin platform to solve the joint planning of storage and transportation.The advantages of the power grid planning framework based on the digital twins in the market environment are verified by numerical examples in three scenarios,and the benefits brought by the trigger mechanism to power grid planning are verified.At the same time,through comparison,it is analyzed that the grid planning based on the digital twin can still bring about the improvement of safety and economy under the connection of energy storage and wind power.It provides a reference for the processing and implementation of power grid planning after new energy is connected to the power grid in the future market environment.
