Monumental Space Design Based On The Concept Of Red Culture Protection And Inheritance

The 20 th Party Congress proposed to make good use of red cultural resources,providing strong policy support for the protection of red cultural heritage,which,as a valuable spiritual wealth of the country,is a monument for people to constantly review the past and look forward to the future,thus making the great value of red cultural heritage protection and inheritance clearer.As one of the best exhibits of the red cultural heritage,the old revolutionary buildings reflect history,culture and ideas in material form.After consideration,the site of the old revolutionary buildings in Changzhuang Village,Dongping County,Tai’an City,which is one of the provincial-level cultural preservation units,namely the former office of the headquarters of the Eastward Detachment of the Fifth Division,was selected as the specific object of study.Firstly,through field investigation and oral history interviews,we excavated the real historical memory and cultural connotation of the village’s architecture,searched for the characteristic culture and passed it on.Secondly,we study the local natural conditions,settlement texture,architectural form and other spatial forms to assess the current appearance and intrinsic value of the revolutionary heritage buildings.Again,combined with the analysis of the historical authenticity of the site,we summarize the development trend of the village’s red cultural heritage buildings in the face of the rapid development process of urbanization,follow the principle of environmental adaptation and spatial experience,and make the design think around the buildings and the surrounding environment.Finally,based on the principles of conforming to the terrain,fitting the texture and being people-oriented,the monumental space is jointly shaped from three perspectives: preservation of old sites and historical buildings,restoration and renovation,and new construction,focusing on creating a monumental atmosphere.Under the guidance of cultural confidence and national strategy,it has become a trend to protect and utilize revolutionary cultural relics.In the process of the above investigation,this thesis studies and designs the memorial space,planning and designing the architecture and environment of some old sites in Changzhuang Village,taking the architectural space and the surrounding environment as the overall memory carrier,not limited to the restoration and rehabilitation of a single building,but inheriting the cultural spirit carried by the architecture and environment.
