With the development of The Times,urban residents have gradually improved their requirements for living standards,enhanced ecological awareness and increased emotional pressure.As a result,the basic demand for outdoor rest has gradually increased and outdoor rest activities have also increased,requiring a place close to nature.Plant special park has the functions of recreation,ornamental,popular science and collection and protection of plant resources,which is one of the important infrastructures to improve the urban ecological environment.Lotus special garden is mainly to show the diversity of lotus,at the same time to achieve popular science,collect lotus variety resources and give consideration to the production of landscape.Lotus has high value in ecology,ornamental,edible and medicinal aspects.It is the most widely used aquatic plant in waterscape,and also a surprising element in landscape architecture.In the existing lotus special garden landscape,there are still some problems,such as single application of lotus varieties,chaotic planting,monotonous landscape elements,inadequate growth management and low recreational attraction.Therefore,this paper takes lotus special parks as the main research object,expounds the development status of lotus special parks,the concept and functional advantages of lotus and lotus special parks,and the actual application status of lotus resources.Through field investigation and questionnaire survey,this paper summarizes the problems faced in the construction of lotus special garden,and takes the lotus special garden design project of Shanghai Chongming Flower Expo as an example,through theoretical research and case study,From the perspective of design project site profile and visitors experience analysis,basic design principles and design ideas,design and plant configuration,and other aspects of lotus gardens landscape design ideas and research,the original site reconstruction,combined with the five senses form different scales,create a can let people "quiet and stop miscellaneous" lotus gardens,To resolve the difficulties encountered in the development of special parks,provide more scientific and systematic public space for urban residents,further promote the application of lotus,and improve the attractiveness of lotus landscape.
