| The room air conditioning performance is currently measured based on the rated conditions. However, the performance of the room air conditioner will change due to the ambient temperature changes and the components performance degradation during its operation. Therefore,it is profound significant to study the long-term performance of room air conditioner for sustainable energy saving. In view of this situation, the long-term performance of room air conditioning was studied, the main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A performance prediction model of room air conditioner is established based on energy balance and mass balance. The compressor is modeled by binary ten term coefficient method, the finned tube heat exchanger is modeled by distributed parameter method. Then, the influence of the operating parameters and ambient temperature on the performance of system were studied.(2)A finned tube heat exchanger model with ash deposition and an overall model of indoor unit with filter are established based on the numerical simulation technology. Then, based on those models, the influence of the dust accumulation and the filter plug on the system were analyzed.(3)The System performance parameters were analyzed for the system with degraded performance exchangers,The economy of the studied object operation was calculated under the situation of ash deposition and filter blockage. The influence of ambient temperature, dust accumulation, and the filter plug on system performance were investigated based on orthogonal design and range analysis. Finally, the performance of air conditioner is evaluated by SEER and Life Cycle Cost considering the change of environment and the late operation cost. |
