| Nowadays,the sustainable development of human society is facing severe challenges.To cope with the exhaustion of fossil energy and environmental pollution,renewable or alternative energy has become more and more important.As a kind of renewable energy,biomass has many advantages such as low cost and environmental friendliness.Rapid pyrolysis is an effective means to convert biomass into bio-oil.Bio-oil contains many high value-added components.Catalysts can be used in the pyrolysis to regulate the quality and components of bio-oil.The currently used catalysts are generally metal oxides,molecular sieves,soluble inorganic salts,etc.,which are expensive.This article considers the use of cheap industrial solid wastes as catalysts and investigate their regulating effect on the biomass pyrolysis process.In addition,we modified industrial solid waste using three methods pickling,calcination and calcination after pickling.A grassy biomass rice straw and an algae biomass chlorella vulgaris were selected in this article.The Pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS)was used to explore the catalytic effects of industrial solid waste on the pyrolysis of biomass.The study can provide a theoretical reference for the catalytic biomass pyrolysis with industrial solid waste.In the experiment of catalytic pyrolysis of rice straw,the catalysts were steel slag,blast furnace slag,aluminum slag,red mud,nickel slag from metallurgical industry,coal gangue,phosphorus slag,carbide slag,papermaking white mud,fly ash,desulfurization gypsum,desulfurization ash and sulfuric acid slag from chemical,electric power,mining and other industries,as well as their modified products.Studies show that red mud significantly increases the content of ketones and reduces the contents of acids,aldehydes,esters,alcohols.The metallurgical industry solid wastes after pickling greatly increase the yield of bio-oil and the content of acids,and reduce the contents of phenols,aldehydes,esters,alcohols,furans.In addition,the metallurgical industry solid wastes after pickling greatly increase the contents of acetone and acetic acid,which may be used as a new way to prepare acetone and acetic acid.The eight kinds of industrial solid wastes produced in the chemical,electric power,mining and other industries all increase the content of ketones.The catalysis pyrolysis rice straw with coal gangue,phosphorous slag,papermaking white mud,fly ash and desulfurized gypsum result in a higher bio-oil yield.In addition,carbide slag,desulfurized gypsum and desulfurized ash significantly reduce the contents of aldehydes,acids,alcohols,and increase the content of hydrocarbons.The eight types of industrial solid wastes produced in chemical,electric power,mining and other industries increase the yield of bio-oil and reduce the relative content of phenolics after pickling.Among them,the bio-oil yield are more than doubled after the picking carbide slag,papermaking white mud,desulfurized gypsum and desulfurized ash addition.Phosphorus slag,carbide slag,papermaking white mud,fly ash,desulfurized gypsum,desulfurized ash and sulfuric acid slag after pickling greatly increase the content of acids,and reduce the contents of alcohols and furans.In the experiment of catalytic pyrolysis of chlorella vulgaris,five kinds of industrial solid wastes,carbide slag,papermaking white mud,desulfurized gypsum,desulfurized ash,sulphuric acid slag and their modified products were selected as the catalysts,which have obvious catalytic effects on rice straw.The results show that carbide slag,papermaking white mud,desulfurized gypsum,desulfurized ash promote the production of aliphatic hydrocarbons and ketones while inhibiting the production of furans,acids,aldehydes.Calcined and calcined pickling carbide slag,papermaking white mud,desulfurized gypsum,desulfurized ash effectively increase the content of aliphatic hydrocarbons and inhibit the formation of acids to a large extent.The addition of pickling industrial solid wastes greatly increase the content of acetic acid,which can be used to selectively prepare acetic acid.At the same time,it also reduce the relative contents of nitrogen-containing compounds and phenolics.Carbide slag,papermaking white mud,desulfurized gypsum,desulfurized ash and their modified samples all significantly promote the bio-oil yield from chlorella vulgaris pyrolysis,while increasing the content of ketones and reducing the contents of furans and aldehydes. |
