Research On The Mechanism Of Digital Capabilities Affecting Enterprise Performanc

At present,the global economy is in a relatively stable recovery stage,and the real economy represented by advanced manufacturing industry will continue to be the main growth point of economic development.The emergence of digital technologies such as big data,cloud computing,the Internet of Things and block chains has changed the production and operation mode of manufacturing enterprises.Digital technology helps to improve the production efficiency of enterprises,improve the profitability of enterprises,expand the income growth space of workers,and enable enterprises to have more abundant financial support for research and development of new products.Digital empowerment and innovative production are the new development direction of enterprise management.This paper empirically studies the impact of digital capability on enterprise innovation performance under the manufacturing scene in China by using the data from the World Bank corporate survey in China in 2012.It uses information sharing as an intermediary to study the transmission mechanism of the impact of digital capability on enterprise innovation performance.Taking Midea Group as an example,the paper further verifies the impact of the enhancement of digital capabilities on corporate performance.The results show that:(1)As far as China’s manufacturing enterprises are concerned,the digital integration capability and digital support capability significantly positively affect the innovation performance of enterprises;(2)The age of establishment and the size of an enterprise play different moderating roles in the impact of digital capability on the innovation performance of an enterprise;(3)Information sharing plays an intermediary role in the impact of digital support capability on enterprise innovation performance.The impact of information sharing on enterprise innovation performance is affected by digital support capability.Enterprises can enhance information sharing by enhancing digital support capability,so as to strengthen the impact of information sharing on enterprise innovation performance.The research conclusion provides a theoretical basis for how different enterprises should innovate in the digital era.
