With the rapid development of VANET technology,users hope to be able to access the Internet anytime and anywhere,even in fast-moving vehicles.However,because the current VANET technology is still in the development stage,the related technology and infrastructure construction are not perfect.4G/5G network access costs are relatively high,and roadside infrastructure AP/RSU cannot achieve full coverage,which will cause vehicle users to access the Internet intermittently,which greatly affects the experience of vehicle users in obtaining network services.Therefore,the VANET cooperative downloading method has become an effective method to solve the problem of intermittent access to the network by vehicle users.This method helps vehicle-mounted users to efficiently obtain required data,resources,and information services in the communication blind zone.At present,most of the existing VANET cooperative downloading methods are based on the single-channel mode,which cannot make full use of the frequency resources of the communication blind zone,resulting in low overall system throughput.In response to this problem,this paper proposes a multi-channel cooperative downloading method for VANET and a vehicle selection strategy based on the multi-channel cooperative downloading method.The innovation points and main work of this paper are as follows:1.Aiming at the current deficiencies in the research on the VANET cooperative downloading,this paper deeply studies the VANET cooperative downloading model in the highway scenario with sparse AP distribution and predictable vehicle trajectory,and the feasibility of using multiple channels to realize VANET cooperative downloading method was analyzed in this scenario.2.In order to achieve the purpose of extending the AP downloading area,maximizing the overall throughput of the system,and reducing the access delay of the target user,this paper designs the multi-channel cooperative downloading method MCo DSov for VANET.This method avoids the problem of transmission conflict caused by the superposition of communication domains in a single channel,thereby greatly improving the downloading completion rate of the target vehicle in the blind zone.3.This paper proposes a multi-channel cooperative downloading method for vehicle selection strategy MCDSGov,uses Markov decision process to establish a three-dimensional space model and designs an optimization algorithm for the vehicle selection decision space,thereby reducing the complexity of the vehicle selection algorithm and improving the system Operational efficiency,and the effectiveness of the vehicle selection strategy is verified through experiments.
