The lateral vibration of the train has a serious impact on human perception,and it is particularly important to control the lateral vibration.The vibration in this direction is mainly completed by the train’s secondary suspension system.The design of a suitable suspension system can significantly improve the ride comfort of the train.This paper summarized the characteristics and principles of rail vehicle suspension system vibration reduction,and selected active suspension to suppress the lateral vibration of the car body.This paper took a certain type of subway train as the research object,and studied the semi-active suspension system and the full-active suspension system of the train using skyhook control and H∞ control,respectively.Based on the ideal skyhook control theory,a suitable damping coefficient was selected for the controlled object,and the semi-active skyhook controller and the fully active skyhook controller were designed.Based on the H∞control theory,the controller was simplified reasonably,and a reasonable weight function selection rule was proposed for the controlled object,so that the H∞ fully active controller for the shaking and rolling motion of the train was designed separately.Simpack simulation software was used to build a train model,and to conduct a joint simulation with the designed control strategy,and summarized the influence of different control strategies on vibration control.The simulation results showed that the active control effect was better than the passive control.In the active control,the semi-active control of skyhook and the fully active control of skyhook have similar effects,and the H∞ fully active control has the best effect.The RC28-14/30 controller and the hydraulic controllable shock absorber have been used for experimental research on the corresponding train vibration hardware-in-the-loop test platform.A comparative analysis of the control effect of the skyhook control strategy and the H∞ control strategy was carried out.The test results showed that the active control effect was better than the passive control.At the same time,under the same control strategy,the control effect of the full-active control mode was better than that of the semi-active mode,and the control effect can be increased by about 15%.In the same mode,the H∞ control effect was better than the skyhook control,and the control effect can be increased by about 40%.
