As a mobile distributed energy storage,electric vehicles can not only get electric energy from the grid for charging,but also interact with the grid to participate in grid energy regulation,that is,V2G technology,which has gradually become a research hotspot.The core of this technology is the power electronic device with bidirectional energy flow capability.The reduced matrix converter(RMC)has the characteristics of bidirectional power flow,electrical isolation,sinusoidal current,adjustable power factor and high power density.It is very suitable for V2G applications.Therefore,the control strategy of the reduced matrix converter is studied to realize V2G technology in this paper.Firstly,it is introduced that the circuit topology and working principle of the reduced matrix converter.Secondly,it is studied that the modulation strategy of the reduced matrix converter,the modulation principle of the bipolar current space vector modulation strategy is analyzed and its duty cycle expression of all sectors is calculated and deduced in detail according to the modulation law.Thirdly,according to the necessary conditions for the safe operation of matrix converter,the commutation mechanism is analyzed,and the four-step commutation strategy is given.The commutation principle is described in detail,and the commutation sequence of all cases is summarized.Finally,the mathematical model of matrix converter is established,and it is designed that the double closed-loop control based on direct current control and PI parameters.Based on the characteristics of the non-linear converter,a passivity-based control based on the port controlled dissipative Hamiltonian system is studied.A passivity-based controller based on interconnection and damping allocation is designed.The control problem is converted to the energy control level of the system to achieve effective control of the grid current.Simulation model based on designed circuit and the above control strategies is established to verify the system design by means of Matlab/Simulink simulation software.An experimental platform of RMC based on control core of STM32F407ZG and EPM240 is built.The feasibility and effectiveness of the control strategies are confirmed by simulation and experimental results.
