The research on the optimization design of ship general arrangement is of great significance to integrating and unifying multiple optimization design technologies such as ship profile and structure.And it is a core issue that needs to be broken through in modern ship intelligent design methods.Taking the preliminary ship design stage as the starting point,this paper focuses on the modeling method and intelligent collaborative solution technology of general arrangement optimization.By decomposing the ship general arrangement into the topological arrangement and geometric arrangement,the mathematical expression of the topological relationship and geometric feature optimization of the general arrangement is unified.By introducing network science and technology into the optimization problem of ship general arrangement,this paper proposes a ship topological arrangement based on network representation.The topological arrangement of the ship provides a new perspective for the optimization of the general arrangement of the ship.In order to facilitate the description of the ship general arrangement in geometric space,a parametric model of the general arrangement was established to lay the foundation for the optimal design of the geometric arrangement.According to the different emphasis of the topological and geometric arrangement optimization design,two evaluation models were established respectively,and finally a universal ship layout optimization design modeling method was formed.The ship arrangement optimization problem belongs to a kind of complex optimization problem.In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the optimization,a new optimization algorithm based on the membrane computing is proposed,called the Diffusion Algorithm based on P system(DAPS).For verifying the effectiveness of DAPS,single-modal benchmark functions,multi-modal benchmark functions,different-dimensional benchmark functions,and composite benchmark functions are used in the algorithm tests.The test results show that DAPS has excellent computing performance in dealing with various optimization problems of different dimensions.A constrained optimization problem-solving technology that integrates multiple constraint processing methods is proposed.And 13 complex constraint optimization problems are used as benchmark functions to perform algorithm performance tests to verify the effectiveness of the proposed constraint processing technology.The experimental results show that DAPS integrated with multiple constraint processing methods can provide very effective constraint processing capabilities while maintaining the excellent computing performance of DAPS.To cooperatively solve the general arrangement optimization problem,the ship topology-geometric arrangements mapping relationship is established.Finally,two test cases are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the optimization design modeling method and intelligent collaborative solution technology for ship general arrangement proposed in this paper.The optimization test is carried out on the Atlantis scientific research ship and the 150-passenger Yangtze River luxury cruise ship.The test results show that the method proposed in this paper can generate better results.
