With the development of tunnel construction in China towards the western karst area,more and more tunnels will pass through the watery karst area.The construction safety of expressway tunnel in watery karst area has always been a technical problem in tunnel construction in China.The complexity and variability of its engineering situation make water and mud gushing disasters occur frequently.As the tunnel water inflow is affected by many factors,it is difficult to predict and control the water inflow disaster in the tunnel construction process,which will not only lead to the delay of the construction period and large economic losses,but also threaten the life safety of the construction personnel.Therefore,it is necessary to study the risk assessment and control optimization of water inrush disaster in highway tunnels in watery karst areas.Based on the Huaqiao Tunnel Project of Guizhou Yushi Expressway,this paper studies the risk assessment,characteristics analysis,monitoring and prediction,and control of water inrush disasters.The main research results are as follows:(1)Based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and the Delphi method,and on the basis of the case analysis and statistical analysis of typical tunnel water inrush disasters,the risk assessment model of highway tunnel water inrush disasters in watery karst areas is established,and the actual case is analyzed.(2)The monitoring and prediction model of water inrush disaster in watery karst tunnel is established by comprehensively using the chemical characteristics test of karst water system,groundwater tracing test,monitoring and prediction of tunnel water inflow,and other methods.The monitoring and prediction of tunnel construction water inflow and water inflow are realized.(3)Based on the construction case of Huaqiao tunnel in the watery karst area,and aiming at the prevention and control of the upper karst cave construction of the tunnel and the reinforcement measures of the initial support of the tunnel in the water gushing area,this paper puts forward an optimization method for the prevention and control of karst and water gushing disasters in the watery karst area tunnel construction.
