The radiator is the most important component in the traction cooling system of high-speed EMU,and its performance directly affects the safe and stable operation of the equipment.Therefore,it is of great significance to design a special test bench to effectively simulate the actual operating conditions of the radiator for the performance testing of the radiator.In view of the problems such as the scheme design of the radiator performance test bench,the overall design,simulation and optimization of the radiator performance test bench are carried out by combining theoretical analysis with numerical simulation.Firstly,according to the national standards and technical requirements,the overall design scheme of the test bench is formulated.The air duct size of the cooling system of the test bench is determined by the assumed velocity method.The selection of flow detection components and the determination of installation position are completed.The flexible thermal conductivity platform that can realize the multi-position adjustment of the radiator is designed.Secondly,based on the theory of computational fluid dynamics and finite volume method,using fluid simulation software to describe the research method of air flow characteristics,the influence of position and orientation adjustment and pipe diameter change on the internal flow field characteristics of variable diameter duct is studied,and the variable diameter duct is optimized according to the analysis results.Finally,in view of the forced convection heat transfer process of the radiator,a complete flow-thermal coupling calculation model of the radiator performance test bench is established.According to the given boundary conditions and basic assumptions,the temperature field and fluid field in the calculation domain of the radiator performance test bench are solved by numerical simulation method,and the temperature distribution of the radiator and the flow field characteristics of the cooling air under the rated working condition are studied to ensure the overall design of the radiator performance test bench is accurate.
