Urban flooding has been increasingly frequent and intense over the past few years as a result of rising levels of urbanization, and its effects on society have worsened. The key to sustainable urban growth is now mitigating the effects of flooding in urban areas. To this end, this paper aims to simulate and analyze the stormwater drainage system of an economic development zone in Xi’an from the perspective of resilience, and to design resilience enhancement measures in conjunction with the concept of LID.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The study model is built using SWMM based on the fundamental features of geography, geology, climate, and hydrology of the study area combined with the stormwater drainage network data. After creating a rainfall model with various recurrence intervals, the model’s robustness and parameter rate was checked using the runoff coefficient method.(2)Surface runoff, outfall condition, nodal overflow condition, and pipe channel overloading are simulated under different recurrence periods. The system performance and resilience under different recurrence periods are analyzed based on the resilience analysis method. The resilience critical nodes are screened out by analyzing and comparing the resilience of flood-prone nodes, and their distribution laws are obtained.(3)Green roofs, permeable pavement, and sunken green spaces are chosen as green measures and rainwater storage ponds as gray measures based on the suitability analysis of LID measures in the study area.Four combination schemes are designed, and the control effects of each combination scheme on runoff and waterlogging under various rainfall recurrence periods and the elasticity enhancement effect are analyzed to determine the best elasticity enhancement scheme. The concept of resilience is gradually introduced into the study of urban flooding disasters in this paper.Additionally, the research horizon of stormwater drainage systems is broadened.New flood prevention and control concepts are presented, and the theory underlying the planning and design of urban stormwater drainage systems is enriched.
