Ancient Chinese traditional manor is a special landscape type,integrating living,production,tourism and entertainment functions.The thesis deconstructs the record information of relevant ancient books,sorts out the development context of manor landscape,and analyzes the specific evolution content with charts.The results can not only enrich the part of the traditional manor landscape in garden history,but also supplement the research of related garden cases.The influencing factors and the specific evolution content of the manor landscape in the different stages will also further enrich the research of Chinese traditional garden culture.At the same time,the garden activities and layout arrangement rich in cultural characteristics are also of certain enlightening significance to the planning,design and tourism development of modern manor landscape.This thesis aims to comb the landscape from Han Dynasty to Tang Dynasty,analyze and discuss the influence of social background on manor development,different types,distribution and landscape characteristics of different stages.And It further reveals the evolution process and influencing factors of manors from Han Dynasty to Tang Dynasty from the overall nature,function and characteristics to the specific landscape elements such as landscape,architecture,animals and plants.The results of the study are as follows: First,the "manor" from the Western Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty experienced four stages of development: "garden in the field","garden manor","manor garden" and "manor garden and village";Second,under the change of the landscape aesthetic concept,The economic production function and clan bond function of the estate gradually declined,The tour appreciation function gradually occupies the most important position of the manor;Third,during the middle and Late Tang dynasties,The two major categories of estates developed in the opposite direction,All the manors of bureaucratic literati inherited the garden characteristics of the early prosperous Tang Dynasty and became more literati style,all the manors of the rich landlords were gradually transformed into administrative organization "villages" under the control of the central government,It then developed into a stable social force——countryside.
