Aerial working vehicle is a kind of special construction machinery which is used to send workers and tools to the designated height for aerial work.The hybrid boom type aerial working vehicle has the advantages of folding boom and telescopic boom type aerial working vehicle.It greatly increase the scope of work of aerial working vehicle,and its working efficiency is higher,so it is more suitable for the needs of modern society high-rise building construction and other aerial working industry.As the main load-bearing part of the aerial working vehicle,the performance of the boom system will directly determine the working performance of the vehicle.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out structural optimization and finite element analysis.In this paper,a certain type of aerial work vehicle of Xuzhou Handler Special Vehicle Co.,Ltd.is taken as the research object,and its boom system is analyzed and optimized.Through the establishment of the mechanical model of the five hinge point luffing mechanism,the objective function of the force on the luffing cylinder is obtained by analysis and calculation,and its mathematical optimization model is established.Based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm,the position of the hinge point is optimized.The analysis of the structure shows that the force on the cylinder is reduced by 18.9% with the optimized hinge point.Using Pro/E to build the model of boom parts,the whole model of boom system under two kinds of dangerous conditions is obtained by assembly.The external solid model was imported into workbench to analyze the static characteristics under two working conditions,and the stress and displacement nephogram of the boom was obtained,which verified the strength and stiffness requirements of the boom system.The first six natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes of the boom system are obtained by modal analysis of the boom system under two dangerous conditions,which has certain guiding significance for the dynamic characteristic analysis and subsequent optimization of the product.
