Life of liquid rocket engine has become a significant parameter in reusable liquid rocket.In this article,a type of high pressure staged combustion LOX/kerosene rocket engine was considered as an object of investigated and perform life prediction on it’s thrust chamber.During the life prediction,the influence factor has been analyzed in order to provide references for reusable liquid rocket engine design and manufacture.Thermal analysis was performed for this type of LOX/kerosene rocket engine thrust chamber with the purpose of getting temperature from hot-gas-side wall and coolant wall.Temperature of hot-gas-side wall and coolant wall were crucial parameter in life prediction models.Some formula of Porowski beam model and creep beam model were derived and conducted damage calculation and life prediction for the thrust chamber.Influence factor analysis was based on Porowski beam model and creep beam model.It’s important to realize how the life and total deflection of inner wall were changed when the influence factor was variation.Results of life prediction is clear that the life of this type of LOX/kerosene rocket engine thrust chamber is about 30 cycles and 10 cycles under Porowski beam model and creep beam model,respectively.The influence of performance parameter,structural parameter and inner wall material parameter were analyzed and offered a proposal life extending of thrust chamber.
