In recent years,information-based financial institutions have driven the blowout development of Internet finance. With the introduction of the new policy of government asset management, just cash is no longer inevitable, financial risk assessment of investors’ capital security has self-evident importance. As the first risk control in the sales of financial products, risk assessment should have been standardized and rigorous so that the assessment results truly represent the true intention of customers to warn the risks of financial products, but it has become a mere formality in the near future, resulting in the failure of risk assessment to achieve the expected effect, and the mismatch between the risk tolerance of investors and the risk level of the purchased products.Based on the realistic background, this paper takes the psychological perspective as the research idea, and uses the behavioral data collected by the questionnaire to study the influencing factors of the mismatch between investors’ product selection and their risk preference, and to verify the effectiveness and operability of the optimization strategy. This paper draws on relevant literature, takes individual psychological characteristics as explanatory variables, and selects five dimensions of loss aversion, risk preference, reference dependence, social relations and overconfidence to study their impact on financial product misallocation. The method of principal component analysis and regression analysis is used to carry out the empirical research, and then the psychological factors with obvious effect are included on the basis of the benchmark strategy.By comparing the distribution of mismatch before and after strategy optimization and the effect of individual psychological factors on strategy optimization, the improvement effect of mismatch under the promotion of optimization strategy is verified. The study finds that on the basis of the evaluation strategy adopted by the current mainstream financial platform, adding to the consideration of investors’ psychological characteristics can effectively alleviate the degree of mismatch.Investors’ risk decision-making behavior is interfered by psychological factors.Reference dependence, overconfidence and social relations have a significant negative impact on misallocation behavior, which alleviates investors’ misallocation of financial products. Finally,it provides targeted development suggestions for investors,Internet financial platform and regulatory authorities.
