As an important instrument for ensuring the safety of nuclear facilities,calibration of the neutron detector is a crucial step to ensure its normal operation and accurate measurement.Typically,calibration work is carried out by periodically sending the detector for inspection by the national metrology department or its authorized agency.However,there are issues such as inconvenience in inspection and the nuclear site being in an unmonitored state during inspection.In response to this practical problem,this paper developed a control system for a detector mobile calibration platform that can perform neutron detector calibration on-site in nuclear facilities,providing strong support for ensuring the safety of nuclear facilities.First,based on the adopted on-site calibration method,this paper analyzed the functions that the control system of the detector mobile calibration platform should have,and constructed a control system including a mobile car module,a rotating lifting table module,a detector module,a sensor module,an STM32 controller,and an embedded Linux controller.Second,the hardware parameters,functions,and communication methods of each module were introduced,the kinematic model of the mobile car was established,and the principle block diagram of the neutron tube driving main control board and driving circuit was designed.Next,regarding the control system’s landmark navigation,the camera was calibrated,and the camera parameters such as the field of view were obtained,and an RGB color-based landmark and image processing algorithm were designed.Then,the control system software for the detector mobile calibration platform is designed,consisting of two main parts: on-site calibration device control software and control backend software.The STM32 controller of the on-site calibration device is based on the embedded real-time operating system Free RTOS,and8 independent tasks are designed to achieve motion control,landmark navigation,and other functions of the control system.The embedded Linux controller that controls the backend has developed a human-machine interaction interface based on the Qt Creator development platform,which has functions such as controlling the detector’s movement calibration platform,displaying images,and sensor data.Finally,according to experimental test results,it was demonstrated that the control system could enter nuclear facilities through landmark navigation,perform data collection through remote control and real-time monitoring,and complete the calibration of neutron detectors.
