Study On The Influence Of Government Subsidies On Ankai Bus Enterprise Perdormance

The increase of government subsidies has enhanced the confidence of automobile enterprises in the transition to new energy direction.With the development of new energy automobile industry becoming more and more mature,the government subsidies have gradually implemented the downward slope mechanism,which has uncovered many business problems covered by high subsidies.In the future,subsidies will be completely cancelled,and enterprises need to rely on their own strength to establish a foothold in the market.Therefore,it is necessary to explore what impact government subsidies have on enterprise performance in the field of new energy vehicles and whether they effectively improve enterprise performance.Based on the subsidy policy dynamics and capital flow of the new energy automobile industry,this thesis selects a representative Ankai Bus as the research object in the form of a case study,and studies the impact of government subsidies on the performance of the case company from the two aspects of financial performance and non-financial performance.First,factor analysis,Pearson correlation analysis,path analysis and other methods were used to test the correlation and influence degree between government subsidies and enterprise performance.Secondly,through a comparative analysis of the specific changes in financial performance and non-financial performance of the case companies before and after government subsidies from 2010 to2022,the impact of government subsidies on corporate performance is discussed.After analysis,this thesis found that the government’s subsidies to Ankai Bus did not achieve the desired effect,that is,the government subsidies did not significantly improve the financial performance of the enterprise,and Ankai Bus suffered serious losses in operation,and the enterprise was under great pressure to repay its debts.While the government’s continued large financial support only embellished the company’s financial statement data.On the contrary,because the enterprise relied too much on the government subsidies,Cover up their own business risks,in the long run to enterprise development is likely to have a negative effect;However,in a certain sense,government subsidies can improve the non-financial performance of enterprises,increase the investment in R&D,promote the output of R&D achievements,and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises.In view of the problems existing in the process of using government subsidies,this thesis puts forward suggestions from the perspectives of new energy automobile enterprises and the government respectively.Ankai Bus should devote itself to improving its operating capacity,strengthening its R&D and innovation ability and the application of technological achievements,enhancing its core competitiveness,getting rid of its dependence on government subsidies,and looking forward to better performance after subsidies decline.The government should also improve the follow-up supervision and assessment system for the subsidized enterprises,implement the subsidy decline dynamically and stably,improve the policy support system for new energy vehicles,and maximize the effectiveness of the subsidy policies.
