Research On The Development Strategy Of Ningxia HY Technology Corporation Limited

With the rapid development of the new energy industry,most notably the power battery industry,the lithium cathode material market has also shown grown rapidly.At the same time,lithium cathode material enterprises are facing the threats of increasingly fierce competition,accelerated product iterations,sharp increases in raw material prices.Amid a new and combined environment filled with opportunities and challenges,lithium cathode material enterprises can only choose a suitable development strategy to seek development,winning a lead and gaining a competitive position.HY is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D,manufacturing,and sales of cathode materials and supporting precursors for lithium-ion power batteries.The company relies on the innovative development of low-cobalt ternary materials,cobalt-free binary materials,and lithium-rich manganese-based materials and their supporting precursors,which are widely used in lithium-ion battery cells.This paper takes HY company as the research object,firstly,we analyze the opportunities and threats in the macro environment and industry environment of HY company by using PEST analysis and Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model;secondly,we analyze the strengths and weaknesses of HY company’s internal environment in terms of material resources,human resources,R&D capability,manufacturing capability,etc.;then,using SWOT analysis matrix,intensive growth strategy,related diversification strategy and backward integration strategy are proposed as alternative strategies;then,the optimal choice of strategic plan is made through the QSPM matrix,and the backward integration strategy is determined as the overall strategy of the company,while business strategies should adopt cost leading strategy and differentiation strategy,and functional strategies should adopt technology strategy,production strategy,talent strategy and financial strategy;finally,the implementation guarantee measures are proposed in terms of strengthening capital risk management,improving talent incentive mechanism,and strengthening corporate culture construction.
