The development of equity incentive system in China can be traced back to the 1990s.Since then,relevant policies have been issued in China to carry out regulatory and restraint reforms,while the market environment has been improved.Domestic enterprises have continued to try in this environment,and now they have fully developed in application and reform.In terms of the subsequent substantive effects of implementing the equity incentive system in companies,researchers at home and abroad have reached different conclusions,but most scholars agree with the actual incentive effects of the system.Within the diverse equity incentive model,restricted stock incentives have gradually attracted the attention of more domestic listed companies,especially those in the entrepreneurial sector,as they take into account the symmetry of rights and obligations as well as the symmetry of incentives and penalties.This article takes Shengxin Lithium Energy as a case study,based on principal-agent theory,taking into account stakeholder theory,incentive theory,and human capital theory,to analyze the implementation effect of its restricted stock incentive scheme.Firstly,using the literature research method,through reading relevant domestic and foreign literature,summarize the previous research on equity incentive system by domestic and foreign scholars.Secondly,using the case analysis method,the motivation for Shengxin Lithium to implement the restricted stock incentive plan and the implementation process of the incentive plan are discussed in depth.Finally,using a comparative analysis method,we searched the relevant data of Shengxin Lithium Energy in the enterprise announcement information for the past three years,and completed the financial performance analysis process for the changes in various indicators highlighted during the process before and after the implementation of the restricted stock incentive plan;Conduct non-financial performance analysis on talent team liquidity and market layout,further explore the implementation effect of Shengxin Lithium Limited’s restricted stock incentive plan,summarize the effectiveness and inspiration of Shengxin Lithium Limited in implementing restricted stock incentive plans,and finally propose suggestions for improvement.The research results show that before and after the implementation of the restricted stock incentive scheme by Shengxin Lithium Energy,the performance of the enterprise’s financial and non-financial performance has been significantly improved,which has brought a more realistic incentive effect to the enterprise itself,helping to improve the level of talent team construction,improve the overall value of the enterprise,and achieve the long-term goal of corporate governance.
