Dao Guan Chong Gushan Tribute Paper Home Furnishing Product Design

Daoguanchong ancient mountain tribute paper is one of the intangible cultural heritages of Daoguanchong Group in Zhangfang Town,Liuyang City,Hunan Province.During the reign of Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty,Liuyang handmade paper was used by the government,so it is called"tribute paper".The focus is to discuss the application status of paper products in contemporary home space,the material properties of paper products and the design exploration of home furnishing products.It effectively changes the old form of Daoguanchong intangible cultural heritage products and expands the form of products,so as to help rural revitalization and protect intangible cultural heritage.At the same time,the starting point of human design,non-legacy design elements,emphasizing the Gushan tribute paper furnishings products of the local and cultural.By combining the material characteristics of Daoguanchong ancient mountain tribute paper and using the plant form of Daoguanchong as the molding element,the lighting design of household furnishings products is the main presentation way to design household furnishings products that meet the current aesthetic.Firstly,this paper discusses the research status,content,ideas and methods of paper materials in home furnishing product design at home and abroad.Secondly,the paper materials of home furnishings products are studied and analyzed by literature research method,and then summarized by inductive deduction method and comparative analysis method.Taking Daoguanchong Gushantributes paper as an example,the feasibility analysis of materials,modeling and technology and the necessity analysis of inheritance and innovation are carried out.Thirdly,through field investigation method,the paper was extracted in the locality and culture,and combined with the design of household furnishing products,the paper and non-paper furnishing products were discussed from four aspects,including technology,shape,texture and color.Then,the design is reorganized around the principles of localism,economy,culture,sustainability and practicability of home furnishing products,and the design is explored by means of material replacement,isomorphic remolding,form bionics and other methods combined with the local actual conditions.Finally,the design positioning and design practice of Daoguanchong Gushan tribute paper home furnishing products are carried out,hoping to increase culture and interaction in the design of home furnishing products,so that consumers can personally experience the irreplaceable charm of traditional handmade paper.Through the research and design practice of this paper,the ancient mountain tribute paper can reproduce vitality coins and better integrate into daily life,so as to broaden the home furnishing products made of ancient mountain tribute paper,and enable more consumers to contact and understand the ancient mountain tribute paper,so as to achieve the propaganda of intangible cultural heritage while protecting its inheritance.
