As the core equipment of Marine power system,Marine diesel engine is the main power source of the vessel.However,due to its complex system structure,harsh operating conditions,and strong impact during the operation process,it is inevitable that there will be performance degradation and various faults during continuous operation.Therefore,comprehensive monitoring and quantitative evaluation of the operation and health status of Marine diesel engine is an important means to ensure the safe and reliable operation of diesel engine,and also an effective approach to realize the intelligent operation and maintenance of Marine power system.This paper takes the TBD620V12 diesel engine as the research object and conducts relevant studies around four aspects: fault simulation,health status evaluation,fault diagnosis,and system development.The main contributions of this study are summarized as follows:In this paper,a dynamic simulation model of the TBD620V12 diesel engine is established based on the volume method,and the accuracy of the model is verified by data from bench experiments.The verification results show that the simulation error of each parameter of the model is within 2%,which meets the engineering requirements.On this basis,seven types of faults with high probability of occurrence in marine diesel engines are simulated according to the formulated fault simulation scheme,and the impact of various types of faults on the main performance parameters of the diesel engine is analyzed based on the simulation results.Then,by coupling the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and entropy weight method,the comprehensive weight of each parameter in the diesel engine health status assessment is determined,and the calculation method of the health of the whole diesel engine and each system is established.Based on the analysis of the distribution of diesel engine health data,the judgment nodes of the whole diesel engine and each system operating state are determined and the diesel engine health state evaluation model is established.Combined with the fault early warning judgment process,the perception and early warning of diesel engine performance degradation and faults are realized.Then,the diesel engine fault diagnosis model is established with support vector machine classifier as the core.The verification results show that the accuracy rate,accuracy rate and recall rate of the model are above 95%,which can accurately and comprehensively identify all kinds of typical diesel engine faults.On this basis,the stability and generalization ability of the model are verified by adding artificial noise.Finally,based on My SQL database and Lab VIEW,the development and function verification of Marine diesel engine health status assessment and fault diagnosis system are completed,and the practical application of health status assessment and fault diagnosis methods is realized.This study is conducted from four aspects,namely fault simulation,health assessment,fault diagnosis,and system development.On this basis,the impact of typical faults on the performance of Marine diesel engines is summarized and analyzed,a health assessment scheme based on parameter weights is designed,a diesel engine fault diagnosis model based on data classification is established,and a fully functional health assessment and fault diagnosis system for diesel engines is developed.From the perspective of practical application,this study achieves the effective integration of diesel engine operating data monitoring,health status assessment,fault warning and fault diagnosis,which provides support for the development of intelligent maintenance solutions for diesel engine and has significant theoretical and practical value in promoting the development of condition-based maintenance for diesel engine.
