Abstract/Summary:
At present,airlines generally use GPS(Global Positional System)to provide positioning and navigation services for their aviation aircraft,but due to the weak wireless signal strength used by the GPS system,GPS jammers with less power can cause large geographical areas of aviation aircraft to be subject to GPS interference,and because of the small power,the interference signal is difficult to receive and the jammer is difficult to investigate.The traditional interference source localization algorithm relies on the reception and perception of the interference signal,and for the GPS interference source localization scenario,the interference signal cannot be received when the location of the interference source is unknown due to the accuracy limitation of the receiver,resulting in the failure of the traditional positioning algorithm.In this paper,a GPS interference source positioning technology based on ADS-B and signal strength is proposed,and a GPS interference monitoring technology based on ADS-B(automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast)and a GPS interference source positioning technology based on received signal strength indication(RSSI)are designed respectively.And designed and implemented GPS interference source positioning system.The details are as follows:(1)The GPS interference monitoring technology based on ADS-B identifies whether the GPS system of the aircraft is interfered with by receiving the ADS-B report broadcast by the aircraft and obtaining the position information and location accuracy of the aircraft when it is difficult for the ground monitoring station to receive the GPS interference signal,and constructs a data set that can be used by the GPS interference source positioning algorithm.(2)GPS interference source positioning technology based on received signal strength obtains the GPS antenna pattern placed on the aircraft through electromagnetic simulation when the interference signal cannot be received,and obtains the receiving antenna gain in the direction of the GPS interference signal according to the relative position of the ground interference source and the aircraft,and then grids and divides the geographical area,and assumes that the interference source is at one of the grid point positions,and then estimates the signal strength of the jamming signal received on the aircraft according to the collected aircraft data.And use the judgment criteria to determine whether the hypothesis is true,so as to determine the location of the source of interference.After the algorithm design is completed,the algorithm designed in this paper is compared and analyzed with the traditional interference source localization algorithm based on least squares estimation by using the measured data.After the measured data test,the positioning error of the traditional positioning algorithm based on signal strength reaches 53 km,while the positioning error of the proposed method is within 10 km.(3)The GPS interference source auxiliary positioning system is realized,the system can monitor GPS interference events in real time and assist the user to locate the location of the GPS interference source,and the realized GPS interference source auxiliary positioning system has the advantages of simple layout,low cost and accurate positioning,which can make the work of locating GPS interference source from extreme difficulty to practical and feasible.
