Along with the fast development of society and economy,people’s quality of life and pace of life are accelerating,and more and more people choose to keep pet cats as a way of being accompanied.Therefore,in recent years,the demand for pet cat household products is also increasing.Pets have become "family" and "partners" for breeders to accompany them,which can well harmonize the family atmosphere,Therefore,the willingness of " shovel dung officials" to buy furniture for cats is very high.Currently,for the gradually stable development of the pet household product market,the design and development of pet products is not limited to meeting their functionality,but more and more attention is being paid to improving their appearance,materials,and colors.Exploring the relationship between humans and pets,as well as between pet household products and modern home furnishing,and enhancing the integration of pet household products have become a new direction in the development of pet household products.In this context,this paper proposes a study on cat house design that meets the characteristics of cat habits and satisfies the aesthetic requirements of modern home furnishing,With breeders and pet cats living togetheras the research object.The aim is to combine the appearance and function of the home products that the owner and the pet cat need,enhance interaction opportunities and emotional communication between people and pet cats,not only meet the physiological needs of people and pet cats,but also meet the aesthetic requirements of modern homes while reducing the problem of pet furniture occupying too much space in the home environment.The research process is mainly divided into: First,comb the habits and lifestyle characteristics of pet cats.Second,sort and classify the shapes and functions of modern homes.Third,classify household products by sorting out the needs of people and pet cats,and screen out household products with high usage rates and high interaction frequency in the same space between people and pet cats.Finally,carry out functional integration of household products to make them meet both cat habits and modern household aesthetics.Thereby more effectively improving the interaction between humans and pet cats and creating a better living space environment.The purpose of this project design is to create a practical cat house that can be integrated into the modern home environment and shared by people and pet cats.Its function,shape,and material can meet the needs of people and pet cats,and become a design that can give pet cats care while enhancing the feelings between people and pet cats,achieving the integration of people and pet cats,pet homes,and other homes,It is also seeking a reasonable and scientific new lifestyle for people to live with cats.
