| With the continuous development of technology and the internet, and the refinement of people’s perception of ’self’,they no longer generally pursue the secular model of success, but choose to experience and enrich their own lives, and as a result, more and more freelancers and digital nomads emerge. The aim of this study is to provide a relatively new and viable way of living,to improve the housing pressure on young people in large cities,to offer new possibilities to achieve work-life balance;to weaken the limitations of geographical location to a certain extent,to equalise population density;to promote the development of the domestic caravan tourism market;and to provide a diversified choice of living styles. The "half-work,half-travel" lifestyle requires the design of additional office space for work, enabling a novel lifestyle experience in which travel and remote working can be combined. In designing the interior layout of the caravan, the concept and functional layout of the traditional small residential space was taken into account. The interior space and functional areas are designed to make full use of the limited space, and the layout of the functional areas is flexibly adjusted and changed according to the different needs of the usage scenarios. The above concept is initially completed by using multifunctional and variable furniture combinations, which ideally increase the visible area of the interior. The research methodology is based on literature, field research, qualitative analysis and case studies.Taking the socially insignificant target group of "half-workers and half-travellers" as the basic position, the research study understands the audience’s needs and feelings of use,and designs a suitable interior functional partition and space layout for the C-type caravan to meet the basic needs of the target audience, and draws up a display design through plan-aided design and 3D effect drawings. As a result of this research, the following conclusions have been drawn: the field of caravan interior design has changed dramatically in China over the years, with the nation gradually embracing a more diversified lifestyle and designers gradually focusing on the concept of combining office space with caravans to design practical solutions that are more in line with national aesthetics and needs, inspiring caravan shoppers with enthusiasm and a desire for a new form of life and fun.Interior design has a longer design history and a stronger humanistic heritage than caravan interiors,so if elements of neo-Chinese interior design can be combined with caravan design will it have a more localised character and cultural connotation. |
