Research On Wenli Lu Drum Tower Manuscript Combined With Oral History Method

As the designer and organizer of Dong Traditional Architecture,Dong hand-ink master plays an absolutely core role in construction activities.Wenli Lu,the master Dong architectural construction in Jitang village,Zhaoxing Township,Southeast Guizhou Province,keeps a large number of drum-tower design drawings and documents,which is very precious in the research on the construction skills of Dong master of drum-tower construction,the most important of which is the Drum-Tower Manuscript.This book conceives of a 15 story drum-tower and completely expresses every component of the drum-tower.The atlas is manually drawn by Master Wenli Lu.The atlas includes the design drawings of the drum-tower,the component drawings of the components and Dougong,the comparison table of the ink code and the ink line drawing,and it involves the spatial positioning of the drum-tower,component shape,size,name,tenon and mortise style,installation order and so on.This study is based on combing the contents of the Drum-Tower Manuscript,oral interview and actual architectural research,combing Wenli’s life experience,sorting out the contents of the Drum-Tower Manuscript,and revealing the logic of the drum-tower construction logic implied in the atlas.And interprets the drawings from three aspects:construction logic,writing logic and drawing expression;finds the key and difficulty of structure and modeling design through electronic drawing and calibration;Through the combing of the Drum Tower construction skills of Wenli Lu,and then summarize the construction skills and characteristics of Jitang Village represented by Wenli Lu and the Drum-Tower Manuscript as the core.
