Power system is one of the important infrastructure in modern society,its stability and security are very important to the development of national economy and the guarantee of people’s life.The simulation research of power equipment is an important part of power system research,which can help power system researchers to better understand the operation mechanism and performance characteristics of power equipment,so as to optimize the operation scheme of power system and improve the operation efficiency of power system.With the increasing operation scale and complexity of power system,in order to further improve the efficiency and accuracy of electromagnetic transient modeling of large-scale power system and solve such key problems as low efficiency,slow speed and lack of data in electromagnetic transient simulation modeling,this paper conducted an in-depth study on intelligent transformation modeling method of large-scale electromagnetic transient simulation,and completed the following work:A method and process for analyzing,verifying and pretreating electromechanical transient BPA data are presented.The current data are analyzed according to BPA data format.DAT file and power flow calculation result.PFO file and stable data.SWI file,all kinds of power system equipment models and parameters,and the model parameters of the electrical properties and mathematical attributes of the rationality and accuracy of the verification,greatly improve the quality of BPA data.At the same time,the BPA data preprocessing method is proposed,and the equivalent combination is carried out for the small reactance branch,three-winding transformer,parallel generator set and other power equipment,which greatly reduces the modeling scale of electromagnetic transient simulation,but also retains the main grid structure of the power system,providing basic data support for electromagnetic transient simulation modeling.The model characteristics and parameter conversion methods of electrical power grid equipment using BPA and RTDS are studied.Analyze the representation meaning and filling format of different model files and input parameters of RTDS,and sort out the model data format and corresponding relationship between BPA electromechanical transient simulation software and RTDS electromagnetic transient simulation software,such as generator and its controller,transmission line,transformer,static load,motor load,reactive compensation and high reactance models.A complete conversion and parameter conversion relationship between BPA data model and RTDS data model is constructed,which provides the feasibility and bridge for direct modeling of electromagnetic transient simulation data.Proposed BPA-RTDS intelligent conversion modeling method and process.According to the current situation and scale limitation of RTDS simulation modeling of large-scale power grid,a sub-system partitioning rule based on partition is proposed,that is,the extraction and modeling method of sub-system is constructed by using partition as unit during electromagnetic transient modeling of RTDS.The topology layout problem of electromagnetic transient modeling of large-scale power grid is transformed into the topology layout and wiring problem of internal electrical model of plant and station which is composed of sub-regions,greatly simplifying the process and difficulty of automatic modeling.At the same time,the automatic generation and layout algorithm of various electrical models for deep search of bus nodes inside the plant station is designed,and the logical thinking and method of automatic conversion such as model naming,data conversion and file generation by BPA-RTDS are realized,as well as the automatic verification method of BPA-RTDS conversion results.It provides concrete and feasible realization process and complete scheme for large-scale power grid simulation.The design and development of BPA-RTDS intelligent transformation modeling system is realized.Taking Qt as the system development framework,the abstract models of various power system models are constructed,the overall design idea and use method of the system are analyzed,and it is applied to the IEEE9 standard case,Guizhou power grid and Guangdong power grid including DC RTDS electromagnetic transient simulation and automatic modeling work,complete implementation of the intelligent transformation modeling process from BPA-RTDS.It greatly reduces the workload and debugging time of large-scale power grid simulation modeling,and verifies the effectiveness of the BPA-RTDS large-scale electromagnetic transient simulation intelligent conversion system developed in this paper.
